I like the game "Temple Run". You can download this game in the Apple App store. It is about a person, who tries to run away from the evil demon monkeys. It is very easy at the begining but it gets  tougher later on. It is very tough because there are many obstacles on the way. There are also places where the path gets very narrow. The evil demon monkeys can also catch you if you trip over an obstacle. You can collect coins when you are playing and with them, you can buy more characters,to race with, boosts to make the game easier and wallpapers to make you ipod/iphone look more attractive.

Sachin Tendulkar 100th Century

On 16th of March 2012, Sachin Tendulkar became the first person to make 100 International Centuries. He made his 100th Century against Bangladesh. After Gautam Gambhir got out very early in the match, it was Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli who played well till the 35th over. During the 35th over, Virat Kohli too got out. After a few more overs, Tendulkar reached his 100th Century. Nasir Hoosain of Bangladesh said, "Don Bradman was great, but Sachin is greater". Later in the innings, Tendulkar got out for 108.

The Indian In The Cupboard

This is a post about the book named "The Indian In The Cupboard".

About The Story

There is a boy named Omri whose friend is Patrick. The book starts when it is Omri's birthday. His friend Patrick gives him an Indian soldier. Omri's brothers give him a cupboard and his parents gave him a skateboard and a very old key. After he received his gifts he went to his bedroom, put the Indian Soldier into the cupboard, locked it with the key and then slept. The next morning when he woke up there was a patting noise inside the cupboard. He first thought he was dreaming. Then he pinched himself to check if he was dreaming, but actually he was not. He slowly opened the door and saw the Indian Soldier which was plastic, had turned into a real moving toy. At the begining The Indian was scared. After a day or two he started to talk. His name was Little Bull. The story goes on and tells you about how Omri tries to hide it from his parents and brothers.

Holi 2012

On 8th and 10th March in my apartment complex we celebrated Holi. On 8th of March we had a bonfire. I took a few pictures and a video. The bonfire lasted for at least an hour.  On the 10th of March we played Holi. We took pichkaris, water, and colour and played. We had a blast. I played for about 1 hour. Then I started to shiver so I came back home. Here are a few pictures.

Indian Cricket

On the 28 of February India won against Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka set the target 321 in 50 overs. If India wanted to reach finals of the Commenwealth Bank Series, they needed to finish the match in 40 overs or less. Chasing a target of 321 is very very difficfult. Although it was difficult, India won the match in 36.4 overs!!

Openers Virender Sehwag and Sachin Tendulkar gave a very good start to India. Gautam Gambhir who later came to play made 64 runs and got out. Virat Kohli made 133 of just 86 balls, while Suresh Raina made 40 from just 24 balls. 133 of 86 balls was the best score Virat Kohli has made in his carrer.

Virat Kohli has played about 75 matches. He has scored about 3200 runs. He has a record of 9 centuries. His highest score is 133 of 86 balls.He made his ODI debut against Sri Lanka in 2008. He made his test debut against West Indies in 2011. Here is a video.

Paintiing The Auto-Rickshaw

I decided to paint the auto rickshaw that I made in Hundred Hands. If you have not read the post about Hundred Hands click here to read it. I changed the look of the Auto and called it the "Racing Auto 3000". I put new wheels for the racing auto rickshaw. I have shown the picture of the new wheels. Here are some photos.

The Science Ehibition

From the tenth of February to the twelfth of February there was a science exhibition at Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium. I had gone there and represented my school. Two other children also came from my class. We showed the visitors how to do multiplication with sticks. It was a nice experience but it was a bit boring since we had to do it for 3 days.
